We’ve been big supporters of Assassin’s Creed throughout its development. Not only because it looks fantastic, but because the advertising for the game has been incredible and we are very easily swayed. Thankfully though, it seems our faith has not been misplaced: The game walked away with a combined score of 37/40 from the notorious reviewers at Famitsu. (You can see a tiny scan right here.)
As a point of reference, 37 is one point lower than Super Mario Galaxy and the same as Halo 3 , so it seems that Ubisoft’s marketers can now add “critically acclaimed” to Assassin’s Creed ads. … As if they needed to be more compelling.
