Best Virtual Console week ever? You bet! Nintendo has announced that the "greatest game ever" will be coming to the Wii Shop Channel today. That’s right, we’re talking about Virtual Golf (TurboGrafx16, 1-3 players, 600 Wii Points)! With its "simple-yet-realistic controls and beautiful graphics," this is far and away the best videogame you’ll ever play. This golf title even factors in wind strength and the slope of the green, features that confirm its status as "greatest game ever."

The greatest game ever is joined by the pricey Mega Drive import, Alien Soldier (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 900 Wii Points). This Treasure developed shooter may not be the greatest game ever, but it does feature an anthropomorphic cyborg lion, and that has to count for something. But does it factor in wind strength and green slope? I think not.

Oh, and Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES, 1-2 players, 500 Wii points) will be available today, too.
