I love Call of Duty 4, and anybody with it needs to join the [TOID] clan and shoot some mothers with us … or just cry into your headset about how badly we suck. If you’re as addicted to CoD4’s multiplayer as we are, then you’ll be glad to know that a patch for the game is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later in the month.

The patch includes performance tweaks and improved map rotation for various gametypes. The addition of host migration is sure to come as some remedy to those who find themselves falling in with unreliable game leaders, and I for one am thrilled that Infinity Ward is going to be making larger games run more smoothly by requiring a larger host bandwidth. Hopefully that’ll cut down on the amount of times spent uncontrollably jerking around like Michael J. Fox in a washing machine.
