Two weeks have gone by since Harmonix rocked our world with the first full album of Rock Band DLC, and it appears that they’ve exhausted their lineup of “triple-A” songs that everyone has been requesting. So instead of more Judas Priest, some Muse, or, I don’t know, anything else, we’re stuck with two songs I’ve never heard of, and one lackluster song by one of my favorite bands.

Next week, Harmonix will be bringing you “Date With The Night” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and “It Hurts” by Angels & Airwaves, two songs that I’m not familiar with. And to be quite honest, after listening to 30-second snippets of them on iTunes, I’m glad that I’m not familiar with those songs.

The third track is Fall Out Boy’s “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race”, the hit debut single for their third full-length album, 2007’s Infinity On High. Now, I’m a huge Fall Out Boy fan (yeah, yeah…sue me) — I have been since Take This To Your Grave way back in 2003 — but really, I could think of about ten songs of theirs off the top of my head that I’d rather play in Rock Band. Oh, well…at least they’re all master tracks.

Anyway, the songs will be available, as usual, on Xbox Live next Tuesday (May 6th) and on the PlayStation Network next Thursday (May 8th). The standard pricing is in effect; each song will cost you $1.99 (160 MS Points), or you can pick up the three-song pack for $5.49 (440 MS Points). Hit the jump for the press release. And if, for some crazy reason, you’re actually interested in the Fall Out Boy figurines pictured above, you can order them online for the low, low price of £44.77 (that’s almost $90)!
