According to popular Japanese magazine Famitsu, the highly anticipated WiiWare game Mega Man 9 will cost a measly 1000 Wii Points ($10) when it releases. Considering that the game is a absolutely original entry in the revered series and, comparatively, new NES games used to retail for around $40, this price point seems to be more than fair.
On another interesting note, Famitsu also hints that the game might include some form of downloadable content. Whether this will involve new stages, bosses, or weapons is totally unknown at this point.
More information about the game — including a North American release date — should be revealed at E3 next week. Since I would have sold my first-born to download this incredible-looking retro throwback anyway, $10 seems quite the bargain! Do you concur?
