Get Comcast, and then get a Wii screenshot

From today until August 17, Comcast is giving a free Wii to anyone who signs up for their Preferred Plus and Premier Triple Play packages. The partnership, according to Comcast’s press release, is “merging together the joy of a super-fun video gaming experience with the power of super-fast Internet speed.” What they fail to mention is that the joy can only be experienced after calling up your buddy, asking for his Friend code, and then buying a Bluetooth headset so you can keep talking to him on the phone while you play a game together.

In all fairness, this seems like a good deal if you’re already in the market for a new Internet provider. Our favorite Nintendo vice president of marketing, Cammie Dunaway, even has her own little quote to go along with this, as she champions the Wii’s browser capabilities and Weather Channel. Although, she neglected to mention that she broke her wrist before talking about the Wii this time around.

Hit the break for the full press release if you’re interested.
